Ever wondered how technology might make your work more interactive? Or, until now have you never wondered? Random String is a creative play project using interactive technology. We don’t believe that all artists have to work with new technologies, but we’d like to help tackle some of the barriers that prevent practitioners for dipping their toe.
Random String is a project that does just that, through a series of collaborations and residencies, we’re supporting artists take their first steps towards a technology driven enquiry. On March the 7th 2014 we hosted a symposium at Warwick Arts Centre, with talks, panel discussions, hands-on workshops and demonstrations. We want artists to have practical, down to earth encounters with creative technology in a supportive environment.
